During the course of this project I learned a great deal of fascinating things about Sweden. I learned that it was one of the countries that really jump started modern physics and made many medical discoveries throughout centuries. For example Sweden invented the ultrasound, a useful tool that many doctors use to monitor the heart. Without this invention medicine would be set back a very long time.
My group and I decided to recreate a famous church from Sweden. We chose it because of it’s beautiful architecture and was it represents to the people. At first the model was going down a very rocky path but we managed to pull it together and make it look praiseworthy and accurate. In the end I’m glad that we decided to do this specific item from Sweden because it really represents the beauty and mystic of the country.
For our prototype we used cardboard and did a really rough outline of how the actual model would look, I didn’t look the best by any means but it really did come into use as a template when we were unsure of what was next on the model.
Based on what I saw from the exhibition I would say that Italy looked really appealing, not just for its rich history but also for the modern inventions and progress.
I feel proud of my booth because in the beginning my group and I had a lot of doubt as to how the final product would turn out, however we pulled through and created a really neat looking booth complete with meatballs and many models of our work. As for particapation I would say that I really went above and beyond, I pulled people who were wondering, I used modern issues and products to pull the listener in and really tried to convince the lisner that they would want to live there.
I think exhibition went really well, everybody seemed to have a good time and all the products were really neat and interesting.
