In english the part that I most enjoyed during this project was the presentation aspect. I enjoyed doing all the research and putting together a quality presentation. I really enjoyed doing all the research. In history, the aspect that I enjoyed the most in this project was surprisingly mental floss. I really liked that I was learning a lot about history and getting knowledge. Surprisingly the aspects that were more traditional based learning were the parts that I enjoyed the most. In math there wasn’t really a part that I enjoyed, I don’t feel like I got to learn really anything and what we were learning was hard to follow or explained poorly. In art the part that I liked the most was the freedom of getting to do our own final art product, I really loved all the creativity that it allowed for us. We didn't have Spanish assignments that connected to this project.
For me this project was a 4 in terms of being challenged, there really wasn't any part of the project, besides the math game, that was challenging for me. You either do the work or not, and the work wasn't challenging at all. I think more challenge options would have been more beneficial for the students who like to be challenged.
The only class that really had some feedback and critique was art because of the art products that we were doing in that class, Mrs. Shani was really helpful for helping me improve my art piece and help make it better.
My written piece wasn't my main focus during this project, I didn't spend too much time writing and perfecting my writing piece so I'm not too proud of it, however I don't think it's terrible and I feel like it is definitely something that my figure would have said. I'm pretty happy with the way I did during exhibition, I felt prepared and had a lot to say when asked questions about our project, my figure, and the booth I was at. Overall it was a really fun and cool experience that I believe I aced.
As I previously said I feel like I felt prepared and had plenty of information about the project, props, and costume. When interacting with guests all interactions were different because I was either talking to them about the project as a student, or they wanted to hear about my figure from that point of view.
If I could change one thing about this project I would have more challenge options available during this project. As fun as it was there were definitely times where the learning felt sparse.
I do feel that I have learned enough lasting information on the renaissance, in Mrs. Howard's class I feel like I learned a lot of info on the renaissance that will help me for the future. This was a really good semester in terms of learning for history. I feel that I deserve an A on this project because I worked hard and wanted to have a good final product on each of the assignment. I put in a lot of effort to making all the products quality and praiseworthy and I really felt like I was super prepared and knew what I was talking about.
