For me personally this was a challenge not just because of the content of the book, but also because in the middle of the project I was in Couzmel, Mexico. So it was difficult for me to find the time to sit down and read my banned book. Other than those samll issues most everything else about this project was fairly easy.
The easiet part of this project would be the video that we did. It was the aspect of the project that took the least ammount of time to do. I just had to sit down, film, talk about my book and then upload the video. I felt very comfortable making the video and heres why. Filming a video isn't like being in front of a crown, I had time to create a script so I knew that if I stuck to my thought out scrpit I would be fine, no chance to fail because there is always editing and refilming to lean back on.
I did not recieve any feedback on my video, but I did on my journal entrys. The feedback was very generic statements such as expand on this topic more and try and replace some of the words you are using for more professional sounding words. As for the feedback I gave, I think that I did very well in that aspect. I looked at my partners writing, their strengths and weaknesses and advised them add more to a specific part or what they could write to make their paragraph stronger.
I was not able to get a hold of the physical copy of my banned book, Lolita, so instead I just read the online pdf. This made reading the book more difficult but you had to do what you have to do so I stuck with that to get all the reading done.
If there was one thing I could change of this project it would be the journal entry prompts. Sometimes it felt a little unclear to me as to what we were supposed to write about, so maybe more simple prompts, super straight forward, might be a better idea.
